Traditions De France Hard Candy in Violet
Traditions De France Hard Candy in Violet
In 1932, Fernande Lagarrigue opened a grocery store in Rieuxpeyroux (South of France) to sell culinary French specialties. A few years later, she opened another store in Grasse (French Riviera) to sell perfumes and products made of Lavender. This passion for French artisanal specialties was passed along the generations, and today her grandson Julien Baillet, together with his childhood friend Romain Guillaume, run the company and keep spreading the French “Art de Vivre” all over the world!
All of their products are testimonies of the incredible knowhow of French artisans, and the brand TRADITIONS DE FRANCE is a warranty of quality and authenticity: nothing but the best natural ingredients and products made the traditional way, in France. All TRADITIONS DE FRANCE candies are made by hand, with selected natural ingredients, and following technics of the former “confectionary masters”. From the violets of Toulouse to the red poppies of Nemours, going through the Berlingots of Nantes, our range of products is a formidable and exquisite trip through the different regions of France.
Created in the early 19th century, candied violet petals became quickly a gastronomic landmark in the South West of France. Enjoyed nowadays all around the world, these beautiful little flowers give a delicious and unique taste to these candies… These candies are a perfect gift for the Holiday season, Christmas, Valentine's day, Mother's day, or any occasion!
